The Atomic Bomb Band played Roskilde festival last summer and it was RIDICULOUS. The sun goes down for 2 hours, and we played a 1am set as the sun set and when we were done and on our way back the sun was already coming up. Damon Albarn was there with his band and came on as one of our special guests. He had played the first two shows this band played at the Barbican Centre in London. It was a pleasure to play guitar on stage with Damon again!
Sinkane on Dummy Mag
Sinkane recorded a live session for Dummy Mag last time we were in London and it got released a few weeks ago. The video is really beautiful and the sound is good. I’m actually pleased with my pedal steel playing! After a year of relentless touring and hundreds(no joke) of hours playing music together, the machine is really starting to get running. I’m happy to be playing a bunch of pedal steel guitar during the shows and its featured heavily in this song, “Mean Love”. I’m glad to be out with these guys.

Atomic Bomb Band w David Byrne
Here are two great videos (one with roller skaters!) of me playing guitar with David Byrne, as he guests stars with The Atomic Bomb Band! The first one is from out first U.S. shows at the Brooklyn Academy of Music last spring, and the second one was when the band travelled to Acupulco, Mexico, to play the incredible Tropicó Festival. Sinkane also played the festival and we travelled all the way from Dublin 48 hours via Newark and Mexico City to get there. Enjoy!

Jim Campilongo/Honeyfingers Kickstarter!
The LEGENDARY Jim Campilongo has launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund a record with Honeyfingers! We have been playing together for about a year, and its been an amazing experience, but now we are hoping to be able to document this amazing musical union. I never ever thought I would be sharing a stage with Jim, let alone him asking to make a record with MY BAND. It’s a pretty incredible feeling.
